Alex Didgeridoo
Alexis Rousselle, aka alex-didgeridoo, has been playing and making didgeridoos since 1994.He is at the origin of the so-called ’sandwich‘ manufacturing technique based on carefully selected wood slabs.It was during a trip in Australia in 2004 that he met the famous contemporary didgeridoo maker ‚Bob Druett‘.They spent several weeks together, and Bob convinced Alex to become professional.
Alex-didgeridoo has since become a key French reference in didgeridoo making.He has developed many instruments acknowledged by professional players.He works with many species of wood from around the world, especially the hard and dense woods that he particularly likes. His instruments are crafted with the utmost care and are recognized for being well balanced, with a clear and precise sound.
