During this course, you will learn the foundations of didgeridoo playing. The focus is on exercises for producing a clean basic drone as well as the technique of circular breathing. Building on that, we explore how different sounds are created. Through targeted exercises involving lips, cheeks, tongue, diaphragm, and breathing, we gradually develop a beautifully resonant didgeridoo sound.

Target group: This workshop is ideal for anyone with little to no prior experience. Returning players are usually well placed in “Level 1.” If you’re unsure, feel free to call us.

In this course, you will solidify the foundations of didgeridoo playing. The better your basic drone, the more beautiful your sounds and the clearer the simple rhythms you’ll learn. You’ll gain valuable insights into your breathing and how to use it consciously for the didgeridoo, making circular breathing easier. At the same time, you’ll benefit from improved relaxation, rhythm awareness, and overall well-being! Meditative elements that allow you to be carried by your own playing are also integrated into the course. You’ll expand your repertoire and gain the freedom to play with your skills.

You’ve got the basics down? You’ve mastered circular breathing and are familiar with various sounds? Then it’s time for a few expert tricks and tips! In this course, you will explore different playing styles and ways to use the didgeridoo.
We show you how to develop rhythmic patterns and tap into your own inspiration. You’ll refine the use of various effects and strengthen your sense of rhythm. This is how you learn to shape your own distinctive sound.
